Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ability to work from ladders
  • ability to meet university's automobile insurance requirements
  • excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
  • ability to read, understand and abide by all safety policies and procedures
  • ability to maintain effective customer relations
  • ability to work any assigned shift or work schedule

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • prior experience in hotel and hospitality environments as a Housekeeping Inspector
  • excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
  • ability to read, understand, and abide by all safety policies and procedures
  • ability to maintain effective customer relations

Job Duties

  • Inspect rooms and communicate housekeepers' needs for rooms
  • utilize task sheets for the housekeeping team to ensure time flows smoothly
  • act as leader in the absence of the department Coordinator
  • train new hires under Coordinator's direction
  • clean rooms as a general housekeeper when needed
  • report mechanical needs and repairs to the Supervisor
  • perform additional duties as required by leadership to support Graylyn operations
