Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years of nonprofit experience, development or communications preferred
  • Familiarity with donor databases
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
  • Experience with Canva and Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in community events
  • Passion for mental health, advocacy, and purpose-driven work

Job Duties

  • Maintain and update donor records in Bloomerang
  • Process donations and prepare timely acknowledgements including notes, calls, letters
  • Support fundraising events including the annual dinner and fall business luncheon
  • Assist with donor stewardship and scheduling meetings with key supporters
  • Draft email, social media, and print content for fundraising and campaigns
  • Collaborate on major initiatives like Giving Tuesday, Year-End Appeal, and the Annual/Impact Reports
  • Translate data, metrics, and client stories into compelling outreach
  • Design visual assets in Canva to support communications across platforms
  • Coordinate Innovation team calendars, meetings, and internal workflows
  • Provide administrative support to the Innovation Board
  • Help plan and support volunteer group activities and community engagement events
  • Support the planning and execution of TN Voices’ events such as Day to Advocate and Digital Advocacy Days
