Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred but not required
  • strong communication skills

  • basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

  • attention to detail and organizational skills
  • willingness to attend required training and safety courses

Job Duties

  • work a flexible schedule including weekends holidays and split shifts
  • arrive on time consistently
  • wear proper uniform that is crisp clean and in good repair
  • maintain clean and becoming hairstyle approved by management
  • attend all required training safety courses office and departmental meetings
  • report and follow up on safety hazards and assist in providing a safe work environment
  • maintain a clean neat and organized work environment
  • follow all directions and processes in place
  • communicate efficiently with all internal and external customers
  • properly rotate all mise en place
  • clean and maintain equipment properly
  • abide by state sanitation health regulations and hotel requirements
  • execute all food order deliveries to correct tables and areas
  • stock line with plates bowls and other utensils needed
  • organize and set up work station quickly and efficiently
  • rotate label and date all food on stations
  • check all Jonas paper in machines before service
  • provide Chef with list of products and jobs needed for next shift at end of shift
  • check out with Dining Room Manager before leaving
  • perform other jobs as assigned to assist quality member and guest service
