Job Requirements

  • must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends holidays and split shifts
  • must arrive to work on time consistently
  • must wear proper uniform clean and in good repair
  • must maintain clean and professionally styled hair approved by management
  • must attend all required trainings and meetings
  • must report safety hazards and assist in maintaining a safe work environment
  • must become certified in TIPS responsibilities for serving alcohol
  • must keep bar area clean and organized before during and after shifts
  • must maintain knowledge of menus wines and prices
  • must be able to handle serving duties quickly and accurately
  • must assist in inventory management and ordering
  • must greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
  • must use POS system accurately and efficiently
  • must be able to perform opening and closing side work
  • must adhere to company policies and procedures
  • must comply with health and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in bartending or hospitality preferred
  • knowledge of TIPS alcohol service certification
  • strong customer service and communication skills
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • familiarity with POS systems
  • understanding of health and safety standards
  • ability to handle fast-paced work environment
  • proficiency in suggestive selling techniques

Job Duties

  • work a flexible schedule including weekends holidays and split shifts
  • arrive to work on time consistently
  • wear proper uniform in good repair and maintain clean hair and appearance
  • attend all required training safety courses and meetings
  • report and assist in correcting safety hazards
  • become TIPS certified and serve alcohol responsibly
  • prepare drinks according to standardized recipes
  • learn proper abbreviations and prices
  • keep bar and work area clean and organized
  • learn wines food pairings presentations and opening procedures
  • perform suggestive selling and up selling
  • complete opening and closing side work
  • maintain cleanliness of tables ashtrays and work areas
  • prepare and properly store mixes and fruit following health and safety standards
  • stock clean and sanitize glassware
  • receive stock and order liquor
  • attend pre-shift meetings
  • greet members and guests promptly and warmly
  • utilize POS system accurately
  • ring checks quickly and accurately
  • maintain organized clean and sanitary bar
  • monitor liquor costs and assist in budget adherence
  • perform other tasks as assigned by Beverage or Dining Room Manager
