Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience working with students and student groups in a university campus recreation program or 2 years in related recreation programs
- Ability to work with diverse constituencies
- Prioritize multiple work responsibilities in a time-sensitive situation
- Work with limited supervision
- Supervise and delegate work to student staff
- Exercise good judgment
- Handle different situations with confidence, leadership, and flexibility
- Knowledge of supervising and programming recreation facilities
- Ability to use PC and Mac operating systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong skills in verbal and written communication, customer service, and interpersonal relationships
Job Qualifications

- Master's degree preferred
- One year of professional experience in campus recreation preferred
- Experience with When-to-Work and InnoSoft Fusion preferred
Job Duties
- Provide direction, training, oversight, and scheduling of student staff for TRECS and HPER
- Support the implementation, review, and enforcement of facility policies and procedures including facility access and emergency action plans
- Collaborate with the Assistant Director to assess and mitigate risk and ensure compliance with standards
- Facilitate regular staff meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations
- Assist in coordinating operational logistics for recreation events, reservations, and special events
- Direct purchasing and inventory processes for facility supplies, equipment, and materials
- Plan and schedule one program a month during fall and spring semesters
- Input, check, and approve student payroll bi-weekly
