Job Requirements

  • One year or more of specialized experience equivalent to GS/GG-12 level in federal service
  • Experience in industrial security program functions within the National Industrial Security Program
  • Proven ability to conduct security oversight and assessments
  • Demonstrated experience in managing security violation investigations
  • Strong knowledge of security regulations and contractual obligations
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with diverse stakeholders
  • Capability to mediate and resolve security-related conflicts

  • Experience in operational industrial security oversight within the Defense Industrial Base
  • Skilled in conducting security reviews and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Experienced in managing security violation investigations and reporting
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong conflict resolution and mediation skills
  • Competency in oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in vulnerability assessment and problem-solving

Job Duties

  • Handle complex Industrial Security Program functions within the Field Office's Area of Responsibility
  • Assist the Field Office Chief in managing, directing, and coordinating day-to-day operations
  • Conduct periodic security reviews and oversight actions to ensure contractor compliance
  • Conduct, record, and oversee security violation investigations including loss or compromise of classified information
  • Integrate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to reduce risk to programs and technologies
  • Mediate and resolve conflicts involving security requirements and guidance
