Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds
Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as backpack vacuum
Ability to follow detailed instructions and process information accurately
Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism
Ability to multitask and handle time-sensitive situations
Must be at least 18 years old

Job Qualifications

High school graduate or recipient of GED
College or vocational school degree is preferred
Six months or more related experience preferred
Demonstrated commitment to service and professionalism
Patience, tact, enthusiasm and diplomacy in interactions
Initiative and sound judgement in evaluating and reacting to situations
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Must be at least 18 years of age

Job Duties

Vacuum using a push vacuum or backpack vacuum weighing 9-12 pounds
Sweep, mop, and scrub flooring and stairs
Wipe down baseboards not blocked by furniture
Clean and sanitize restrooms including sinks, toilets, and urinals
Clean and polish countertops, microwaves, coffee makers, and refrigerators in breakrooms
Restock supplies and refill dispensers in restrooms, break rooms and common areas
Empty all trash cans and replace liners, tying liners as needed to fit cans
Dust and clean office desks and furniture that are not cluttered
Clean windowsills, windows, and blinds
Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition
Properly label, dilute and use all chemicals
Perform other tasks as assigned
