Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Willingness to undergo a 7-year background check
- Must pass a drug test prior to employment
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Capability to stand and walk for 85-90% of the shift
- Availability for scheduled shifts Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday, day or night
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior janitorial or cleaning experience beneficial but not required
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
- Knowledge of chemical handling and safety practices a plus
- Good physical condition to perform tasks involving walking, standing, lifting
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights
Job Duties
- Clean various flooring surfaces including vacuuming with a push vacuum/backpack vacuum, sweeping, mopping and scrubbing in an industrial/warehouse setting
- Sanitize restrooms including sinks, toilets, urinals, floors
- Dust and wipe down office furniture and equipment, baseboards, windows, blinds
- Clean and disinfect breakrooms including countertops, microwaves, refrigerators, tables, chairs, floors
- Restock supplies and refill dispensers in restrooms, breakrooms, common areas
- Empty all trash cans and replace liners
- Ensure proper labeling and use of all cleaning chemicals
- Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition
- Operate specialized equipment as needed
- Report irregularities and inform violators of policy and procedures
- Abide by and enforce Sizemore's and client’s policies and procedures
- Perform other assigned tasks as required
