Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to pass a 7-year background check
- Must successfully pass a drug test prior to employment
- Willingness to work day shift and flexible schedule
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods
- Willingness to follow company policies and safety guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous janitorial or industrial cleaning experience preferred but not required
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Clean various flooring surfaces including vacuuming with a push vacuum or backpack vacuum, sweeping, mopping and scrubbing in an industrial or warehouse setting
- Sanitize restrooms including sinks, toilets, urinals, floors
- Dust and wipe down office furniture and equipment, baseboards, windows, blinds
- Clean and disinfect breakrooms including countertops, microwaves, refrigerators, tables, chairs, floors
- Restock supplies and refill dispensers in restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas
- Empty all trash cans and replace liners
- Ensure proper labeling and use of all cleaning chemicals
- Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition
- Operate specialized equipment as needed
- Report irregularities and enforce policy and procedures
- Abide by and enforce Sizemore's and client policies and procedures
- Perform other assigned tasks as required
