Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- reliable transportation
- able to pass a 7-year background check
- able to pass a drug test
- able to work overnight shifts
- capable of extensive walking or standing for long periods
- able to lift and carry items weighing 50 lbs or less
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in industrial cleaning or housekeeping preferred but not required
- ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling
- strong attention to detail
- good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- ability to work overnight shifts
- reliable transportation
- willingness to undergo background and drug screening
Job Duties
- clean various flooring surfaces including vacuuming with a push vacuum/backpack vacuum, sweeping, mopping and scrubbing in an industrial/warehouse setting
- sanitize restrooms including sinks, toilets, urinals, floors, etc
- dust/wipe down office furniture and equipment, baseboards, windows, blinds, etc
- clean/disinfect breakrooms including countertops, microwaves, refrigerators, tables, chairs, floors, etc
- restock supplies/refill dispensers in restrooms, breakrooms, common areas, etc
- empty all trash cans and replace liners to fit
- ensure proper labeling and use of all cleaning chemicals available
- maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition
- operate specialized equipment as needed
- prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures
- abide by and enforce Sizemore's and client's policies and procedures as needed
- other tasks may be assigned as required
