Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in import and export logistics
  • Experience with ocean freight and drayage operations required
  • Prior work experience in 3PL, 4PL, freight forwarding, NVOCC, or international carriers
  • Proficiency in CargoWise mandatory
  • Ability to use Excel and TMS or other shipping software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage time effectively
  • Technologically proficient and a quick learner for software applications
  • Basic knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • High level of accountability and detail orientation

Job Qualifications

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

Job Duties

  • Manage the lifecycle of international freight shipments including quoting, booking, coordinating drayage, tracking, and billing
  • Ensure compliance with all shipping and trade regulations
  • Resolve shipment problems and provide timely customer follow-up
  • Coordinate with carriers, internal teams, and clients to guarantee timely and accurate freight movement
  • Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documentation
  • Utilize CargoWise and other TMS software effectively to manage shipments
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to shipment status and billing
