Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 plus years of experience as a cook specializing in Indian cuisine
- Relevant culinary training or certification preferred
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in varying temperature conditions
- Willingness and ability to travel for domestic and international events
- Strong communication skills and team collaboration
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 3 plus years of experience as a cook specializing in Indian cuisine
- Culinary degree or certification a plus
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine ingredients, cooking methods, and flavor profiles
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures
- Ability and desire to travel and work multiple events both domestically and internationally
- Flexibility to work different shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
Job Duties
- Create vibrant, flavor-packed Indian dishes from rich curries to aromatic biryanis to sizzling tandoori specialties
- Master authentic cooking techniques such as roasting, braising, tempering, and slow-simmering to build deep flavor profiles
- Prepare all dishes consistently in alignment with established recipes, portion standards, and presentation expectations
- Monitor ingredient usage and minimize waste while ensuring high-quality standards
- Operate efficiently across multiple kitchen stations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Maintain a polished and organized workstation while upholding hygiene and sanitation standards
- Follow all food safety protocols and report concerns or anomalies promptly
- Innovate and refine dishes with creativity and curiosity
