Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 plus years of experience as a cook specializing in Indian cuisine
  • Relevant culinary training or certification preferred
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in varying temperature conditions
  • Willingness and ability to travel for domestic and international events
  • Strong communication skills and team collaboration

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 plus years of experience as a cook specializing in Indian cuisine
  • Culinary degree or certification a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine ingredients, cooking methods, and flavor profiles
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures
  • Ability and desire to travel and work multiple events both domestically and internationally
  • Flexibility to work different shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs

Job Duties

  • Create vibrant, flavor-packed Indian dishes from rich curries to aromatic biryanis to sizzling tandoori specialties
  • Master authentic cooking techniques such as roasting, braising, tempering, and slow-simmering to build deep flavor profiles
  • Prepare all dishes consistently in alignment with established recipes, portion standards, and presentation expectations
  • Monitor ingredient usage and minimize waste while ensuring high-quality standards
  • Operate efficiently across multiple kitchen stations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Maintain a polished and organized workstation while upholding hygiene and sanitation standards
  • Follow all food safety protocols and report concerns or anomalies promptly
  • Innovate and refine dishes with creativity and curiosity
