Job Requirements

  • Experience working in activities or other field related to care of seniors
  • Experience in event planning preferred
  • Has experience in working alone and in developing events/programs
  • Dedication to senior population and their unique needs and concerns
  • Must enjoy interacting with elderly population
  • Must be able to communicate in the English language
  • Capable of sensitive and effective communication both verbally and in writing to professionals, residents and families, entertainers, educators, and staff members
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working in activities or care related to seniors
  • Experience in event planning preferred
  • Ability to work independently and develop events/programs
  • Dedication to seniors and understanding of their unique needs
  • Enjoyment in interacting with the elderly
  • Proficient communication skills in English
  • Effective verbal and written communication with diverse groups
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Plan and facilitate activities and events for senior residents
  • Coordinate with staff, entertainers, and educators to deliver programs
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and professionals
  • Develop programs based on residents' interests and needs
  • Ensure safety and engagement during events
  • Maintain records of activities and participant feedback
  • Handle physical tasks including lifting, pushing, and pulling required materials
