Job Requirements
- must be 17 or older
- availability from May through September for summer or November through March for winter
- willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary
- ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- ability to lift up to 15 pounds
- capacity to work outdoors in all types of weather
- punctuality and professionalism

Job Duties
- practice excellent customer service
- greet, welcome, and guide guests
- courteously respond to customer inquiries and questions in person and via telephone
- explain products, services, and prices
- sell skating tickets and merchandise
- count the register drawer in/out
- process cash and credit card payments and perform point-of-sale activities as directed during the scheduled designated cashier shift
- distribute rental equipment in compliance with established procedures
- maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and order of the display counter, windows, and cases
- assist other departments and complete side duties as needed
- collect and validate skate rental tickets
- wristband guests in accordance with skate rental tickets
- distribute skates to guests
- return skates to the skate racks
- perform minor-level upkeep on skates, such as replacing laces and disinfecting boots
- maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and order of the display counter and rental area
- verify guest tickets for admission entry
- remain visible to guests and staff while on the rink
- monitor rink conditions while skating
- ensure guests are skating safely
- actively convey rink rules and regulations to guests
- report any injuries or violations in compliance with established procedures
