Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality or event management or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience planning business and incentive events
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Cvent event management software preferred
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 10 weeks per year
- Regular and predictable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality or event management or related field plus 5+ years of relevant experience planning business and incentive events
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Word Excel PowerPoint familiarity with Cvent preferred
- Knowledge of A/V and video production is a bonus
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong negotiation organizational and communication skills
- Ability to travel extensively up to 10 weeks annually
- Regular and predictable attendance required
Job Duties
- Serve as a point of contact for event planning providing prompt and courteous support to internal teams and external partners
- Plan and execute corporate meetings conferences and incentive travel programs often managing multiple events simultaneously
- Consult with internal business partners on event strategies and registration processes including expertise in Cvent
- Develop event materials aligned with brand standards including agendas signage and promotional items oversee logistics such as ordering supplies and coordinating shipments
- Provide on-site event management to ensure flawless execution of all arrangements and contracted terms
- Anticipate and resolve issues during events with proactive problem-solving
- Manage event budgets by tracking anticipated and actual expenses preparing variance reports and ensuring accurate vendor payments
