Job Duties
- Monitor, track, and communicate the progress of inbound shipments to ensure efficient and timely updates
- responsible for global inbound shipments to North America distribution centers
- booking exception management in Origin Cargo Management (OCM) providers system(s)
- communicate shipment updates with stakeholders i.e. brand operations/production, customer service, sales and the DC
- daily follow-up with service providers (ocean, air, dray carriers) regarding shipment status
- responsible for driving issue resolution to enable timely receiving of shipments at Distribution Centers
- partner with Customs team for any documentation or import issues
- prepare and publish reports related to inbound transportation status and KPI performance
- attend weekly inbound meetings and provide insights to stakeholders
- identify and implement internal process improvements and new ideas to maximize service
- develop best practice for import logistics processes
