Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience in logistics focusing on import/export
  • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Prior experience in warehouse or manufacturing office settings
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work onsite in Cherry Hill, NJ
  • Availability to cross-train as an Outbound Logistics Coordinator
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate with teams
  • Willingness to handle general office duties
  • Capable of troubleshooting and problem solving in logistics contexts

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience in logistics focusing on import/export
  • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Experience in warehouse or manufacturing office environments
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Detail oriented with ability to multi-task
  • Professional communication skills
  • Strong planning and organizing abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental performance standards
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with American money and measurement units
  • Good judgment in carrying out detailed written and oral instructions
  • Capability to manage issues involving a few concrete variables in standard situations

Job Duties

  • Respond to incoming supplier calls and emails regarding pickups and ETAs
  • Assist suppliers with post-pickup reporting including scale tickets and receiving reports
  • Create supplier purchase orders and pickup numbers using internal software
  • Dispatch drivers and generate pickup sheets and unloading reports
  • Manage the database software scale system for incoming traffic
  • Support sales team with new supplier onboarding and cost updates
  • Track equipment onsite and offsite and follow up on shipments to ensure timely supplier payment
  • Communicate with operations about unloaded trailers and enter unloading report data into system
  • Troubleshoot service issues and assist with monthly closeout
  • Perform general office duties
  • Report equipment repairs and coordinate DOT renewals
  • Work with internal freight department for driver logs and invoice payments
  • Ensure outsourced freight bills are forwarded for payment
  • Cross-train as an Outbound Logistics Coordinator and serve as backup when needed
