Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year relevant working experience in customer service or sales
- Dedicated quiet workspace for remote work
- Reliable local internet provider with ethernet connection
- Internet speed meeting minimum requirements of 50 Mbps download, 15 Mbps upload, and 50 ms ping
- Availability to work 4x10 schedule (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM CST)
- Commitment to complete 9-week full-time training (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM CST)
- Ability to participate in biannual shift bidding within 7 AM to 7 PM CST
- Strong computer skills and multitasking ability
Job Qualifications
- One year relevant working experience in a customer service or sales environment
- Strong problem-solving and judgment skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient with MS Office Suite and navigating multiple computer systems
- Familiarity with web-based systems for troubleshooting
- Ability to maintain professional interactions and promote brand loyalty
- Ability to work productively in a remote environment
Job Duties
- Provide product information and registration support to customers
- Handle service, parts, delivery, and dealer location inquiries
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues via phone, email, and chat
- Adhere to established concession guidelines benefiting customers and GE Appliances
- Accurately create, update, and retrieve owner records documenting complaints and actions
- Collaborate with Quality and Training teams to improve training materials and processes
- Maintain a safe and professional remote work environment
