Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be able to obtain CA Food Handlers Certification
  • Must be able to obtain RBS (alcohol) Certification
  • Must be willing to work variable hours according to event schedule
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and transport full beer kegs
  • Must practice safe work habits and follow safety policies and procedures
  • Must complete company-wide and job-specific safety training

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience within food and beverage industry
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to work long periods standing, walking, and lifting
  • Ability to remain calm under stressful situations
  • Strong guest service skills with positive body language
  • Ability to make decisions without immediate supervision
  • Ability to smile and maintain positive guest interactions

Job Duties

  • Report for scheduled events on time in proper uniform with a neat and clean personal appearance
  • Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times
  • Analyze and resolve problems proactively
  • Work with staff to control spoilage and waste and ensure compliance with Board of Health regulations
  • Ensure work stations, back of stand, and storerooms are clean and sufficiently stocked
  • Efficiently complete required paperwork
  • Replace empty kegs with full ones
  • Ensure staff maintains quality appearance of location
  • Enforce correct alcohol policies and procedures
  • Oversee staff check-out, verify voids, and ensure efficient closing of stand
  • Be knowledgeable of all staff positions and fill any as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
