Job Qualifications
- Experience in food service, banquets, or catering preferred
- Smart Serve certification if transporting alcoholic beverages
- Food handler certification
- Ability to work quickly and accurately
- Strong coordination and balance for carrying trays
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Retrieve prepared food and beverage orders from kitchen or service areas and deliver to inseat servers
- Ensure accuracy of orders and verify items match guest tickets
- Maintain food temperature and presentation during transport
- Navigate aisles and stairs safely and efficiently while carrying trays or baskets
- Assist in running additional items such as condiments, utensils, or napkins
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff about order status and special requests
- Collect used trays or dishes and return to dishwashing area
- Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness of service areas
- Support other service tasks during downtime
- Perform other duties as assigned
