Job Requirements
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and/or holidays
- Minimum lifting of 50 pounds
- Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity
- Hearing, writing, typing
- Minimum pulling of 50 pounds
- Other duties may be assigned
- Must be 21 or older to serve alcohol
- Must possess unexpired or obtain a Utah food handlers permit within 14 days of employment
Job Qualifications
- Previous guest service experience
- Familiarity with menu items and wine selections
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to memorize and recall detailed information
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of cash handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible schedules
Job Duties
- Greet all guests in a warm and enthusiastic manner
- Assist host or hostess in seating guests as needed
- Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food, service, and wines
- Memorize menu selections, daily specials, and ingredient details
- Maintain and follow all cash handling procedures
- Assist in timely delivery of food to guests
- Work collaboratively with servers and kitchen staff
