Job Requirements

  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and/or holidays
  • Minimum lifting of 50 pounds
  • Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity
  • Hearing, writing, typing
  • Minimum pulling of 50 pounds
  • Must be 21 or older to serve alcohol
  • Must possess unexpired or obtain a Utah food handlers permit within 14 days of employment
  • Other duties may be assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Previous guest service experience
  • Knowledge of menu and wine selections
  • Ability to memorize daily specials and ingredients
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Professionalism and teamwork skills
  • Must be 21 or older to serve alcohol

Job Duties

  • Greet all guests in a warm and enthusiastic manner and assist host or hostess in seating guests as needed
  • Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food, service, appropriate wines, and food preparation
  • Memorize menu selections and wines including being familiar with daily specials and basic ingredients
  • Maintain and follow all cash handling procedures
  • Convey company information, decisions, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis
  • Work to resolve disagreements and be respectful of guests and co-workers
  • Perform other duties as assigned
