Job Requirements
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and/or holidays
- Minimum lifting of 50 pounds
- Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity
- Hearing, writing, typing
- Minimum pulling of 50 pounds
- Must be 21 or older to serve alcohol
- Must possess unexpired or obtain a Utah food handlers permit within 14 days of employment
- Other duties may be assigned
Job Qualifications
- Previous guest service experience
- Knowledge of menu and wine selections
- Ability to memorize daily specials and ingredients
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Professionalism and teamwork skills
- Must be 21 or older to serve alcohol
Job Duties
- Greet all guests in a warm and enthusiastic manner and assist host or hostess in seating guests as needed
- Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food, service, appropriate wines, and food preparation
- Memorize menu selections and wines including being familiar with daily specials and basic ingredients
- Maintain and follow all cash handling procedures
- Convey company information, decisions, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis
- Work to resolve disagreements and be respectful of guests and co-workers
- Perform other duties as assigned
