Job Requirements
- Must be 19 years of age or older to serve alcohol
- knowledge of the appropriate food and beverage preparations and service standards
- limited knowledge of beverages and wines
- knowledge of all menu items and accompaniments
- basic knowledge of the English language sufficient to understand inquiries from customers and communicate preparation methods
- ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items
- ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise transport up to 50 lbs
- knowledge of local attractions
- knowledge of proper etiquette and manners
- ability to multi-task
- ability to work among a team atmosphere as well as alone
- ability to perform duties in strict time parameters
- ability to maintain service standards
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- no prior experience required

Job Duties
- Prepare trays and deliver to rooms
- maintain condition and cleanliness of work area
- maintain complete guest satisfaction by maintaining service standards
- check floors to be sure all trays and carts are retrieved
- prepare and deliver guest amenities
- keep room service areas clean
- order and maintain food supplies
- perform side work such as open, close and shift maintenance duties
- pick up clean linen from banquets and return dirty linen to shipping dock
- cash handling
- perform other duties as assigned
