Job Requirements
- Minimum one year server experience
- Ability to work full eight hour shifts standing and walking
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Prior in room dining experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year server experience
- Previous in room dining food service experience preferred
- In room dining cashier experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations
- Understanding of service standards and guest etiquette
- Ability to read, speak and write English
- Ability to remember and promote menu items
- Ability to operate beverage and toast equipment
- Physical ability to transport up to 30 lbs continuously
Job Duties
- Set up room service trays and tables in anticipation of incoming orders
- Retrieve check from order taker and set table
- Pick up order from kitchen or bar ensuring completeness
- Carry trays or push wheeled carts delivering room service orders to guests
- Present check and obtain payment
- Deliver payment and signed check to order taker for closing
- Assist bus persons in removing trays and tables from guest floors
- Prepare complimentary fruit baskets and deliver to guest rooms
