Job Requirements
- Minimum of one year server experience
- Ability to read, speak and write English
- Ability to carry trays up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to work full eight-hour shifts standing and walking
- Ability to work flexible schedules including overnight, night, weekends and holidays
- Commitment to providing outstanding guest service
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service protocols
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of one year server experience
- Previous in room dining food service experience preferred
- In room dining cashier experience preferred
- Forbes experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
- Ability to read, speak and write English
- Ability to promote menu items
- Physical ability to carry trays up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to operate beverage and toast equipment
Job Duties
- Set up room service trays and tables in anticipation of incoming orders
- Retrieve check from order taker, set table and pick up order from the kitchen or bar
- Ensure all food, beverages, alcoholic beverages, and condiments are complete when picking up orders
- Carry trays up to 30 lbs. or push wheeled carts to deliver room service orders to guests in a friendly and courteous manner
- Present check and obtain payment, then deliver payment/signed check to order taker for closing
- Assist bus persons in removing trays and tables from guest floors and returning them to designated locations
- Prepare complimentary fruit baskets and deliver to guest rooms
