Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • at least 1 year of related work experience
  • willing to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds independently and more with assistance
  • able to work full time
  • follow safety and security policies
  • maintain professional appearance
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • at least 1 year of related work experience
  • no supervisory experience required
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work effectively in a team
  • customer service orientation
  • familiarity with food and beverage service standards

Job Duties

  • Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
  • set tables according to type of event and service standards
  • answer questions on menu selections
  • communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability
  • communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
  • record transactions in MICROS system
  • check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course or beverage
  • maintain cleanliness of work areas and serviceware
  • complete closing duties including restocking items and turning off lights
  • present physical and accurate checks to guests and process payments
  • follow all company safety and security policies
  • report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
  • maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • welcome and acknowledge all guests
  • anticipate and address guests' service needs
  • assist individuals with disabilities
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • support team goals
  • ensure adherence to quality standards
  • perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, walking, lifting and moving objects
  • perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
