Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- minimum 1 year of related work experience
- ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- ability to lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and over 50 pounds with assistance
- ability to reach, bend, twist, and stoop
- must follow all safety and security policies and procedures
- able to maintain professional appearance
- strong interpersonal skills and clear communication
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- willing to perform other reasonable job duties as requested
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- at least 1 year of related work experience
- no supervisory experience required
- strong communication skills
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- customer service oriented
- knowledge of food and beverage service standards
Job Duties
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
- set tables according to type of event and service standards
- answer questions on menu selections
- communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability
- communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
- record transactions in MICROS system at time of order
- check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages
- maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware throughout the day
- complete closing duties including restocking items and turning off lights
- present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment
