Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • minimum 1 year of related work experience
  • no supervisory experience required
  • ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds unassisted and heavier items with assistance
  • clear communication skills
  • adherence to company dress code and appearance standards
  • legal eligibility to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
  • set tables according to type of event and service standards
  • answer questions on menu selections
  • communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability
  • communicate special meal requirements, allergies, and dietary needs to the kitchen
  • record transactions in MICROS system at time of order
  • check in with guests to ensure satisfaction
  • maintain cleanliness of work areas and tableware
  • complete closing duties including restocking and securing the area
  • present accurate checks to guests and process payments
  • follow company safety and security policies
  • report accidents and unsafe conditions
  • ensure uniform and personal appearance are professional
  • maintain confidentiality and protect company assets
  • welcome and acknowledge guests warmly
  • anticipate and address guests’ service needs
  • assist individuals with disabilities
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • support team goals
  • ensure adherence to quality standards
  • read and verify information accurately
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • move and manipulate objects as required
  • perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
