Job Requirements
- Flexible availability for both day and evening shifts
- Previous server experience preferred
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds unassisted and heavier items with assistance
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and adhere to company grooming standards
- Willingness to follow safety and security policies and complete necessary training
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic proficiency in using point-of-sale systems
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
- Set tables according to type of event and service standards
- Answer questions on menu selections
- Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability
- Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
- Record transactions in MICROS system at time of order
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day
- Complete closing duties including restocking items and turning off lights
- Present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment
