Job Requirements
- Must be able to understand, read, write and speak English above a basic level to effectively communicate with Team Members and Guests
- must maintain a neat and professional appearance upholding Company appearance standards at all times
- must be able to apply commonsense understanding in carrying out instructions
- must be able to comply in standardized situations with only occasional or no variation
- must be available to work flexible shifts, including Holidays
- must be able to work without constant supervision
- must be able to work well as a part of a team
- must be engaging with all guest throughout meal periods, responding to guest and Team Members as required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months customer service, hotel or restaurant experience preferred, but not required
- must have excellent customer service skills
- must obtain TIPS certification within 30 days if not certified
- must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer/client focus
Job Duties
- Greet all guest with eye contact and a warm welcome as they enter the dining area
- maintain a proactive guest service approach at all times
- assist with seating guests as needed in the absence of the hostess
- provide fast, friendly professional and responsive customer service to hotel and restaurant guest and staff
- serve food and beverage in accordance with standards and in a professional courteous manner
- maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition
- adhere to all Brand Standards regarding Food and Beverage and Service
- assist with the set up and cleanliness of the Restaurant
- assist with clearing and set-up of tables
- assist with restocking of supplies as needed
- communicate effectively with Management and other Team Members
- use Point of Sale (POS) system as required
- perform other duties assigned by supervisor/ manager
- perform special daily projects assigned by supervisor/ manager
