Job Requirements
- Must be 19 years of age or older to serve alcohol
- basic knowledge of the English language sufficient to understand customer inquiries and communicate preparation methods
- ability to comprehend written product labeling instructions
- ability to grasp, lift, carry or transport up to 50 lbs
- ability to perform duties within strict time parameters
- no prior experience required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- knowledge of appropriate food and beverage preparations and service standards
- limited knowledge of beverages and wines
- knowledge of all menu items and accompaniments
- ability to understand and communicate in English
- ability to remember and promote menu items
- knowledge of local attractions
- knowledge of proper etiquette and manners
- ability to multitask
- ability to work independently and in a team environment

Job Duties
- Prepare trays and deliver to rooms
- maintain condition and cleanliness of work area
- maintain complete guest satisfaction by maintaining service standards
- check floors to be sure all trays and carts are retrieved
- prepare and deliver guest amenities
- keep room service areas clean
- order and maintain food supplies
- perform side work (open, close and shift maintenance duties)
- pick up clean linen from banquets and return dirty linen to shipping dock
- cash handling
- perform other duties as assigned
