Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • ability to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing
  • must be TIPS certified or willing to become certified within 30 days
  • must possess a current Food Handlers card
  • prior experience in a hospitality or food service environment preferred
  • able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds
  • ability to work full-time hours
  • dedication to uphold resort quality and service standards

  • ability to communicate fluently in English both verbally and through legible writing, always in a professional way toward guests and associates
  • High School Diploma, GED or some College experience or Degree recommended
  • must be TIPS certified or become certified within 30 days of hire
  • must have a current Food Handlers card
  • previous similar experience in a professional setting is preferred

Job Duties

  • Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
  • provide exceptional and personalized service to guests staying at the resort, ensuring their dining experience exceeds expectations
  • liaise effectively with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered to guests in a timely manner, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
  • process guest payments accurately and efficiently, including cash transactions, credit card payments, and room charges, following resort policies and procedures
  • safely transport orders to guest rooms, navigating the resort layout efficiently and delivering orders courteously and professionally
  • demonstrate thorough knowledge of the menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and allergen information, to assist guests in making informed choices
  • carefully set up trays or carts with ordered items, garnishes, condiments, and utensils, ensuring each delivery is visually appealing and well-organized
  • anticipate and address guests' service needs
  • speak with others using clear and professional language
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support your team to reach common goals
  • ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
  • thank guests with genuine appreciation
  • perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
