Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years of serving experience in a restaurant or lounge environment
- valid food handlers card
- Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification
- excellent communication skills
- basic math proficiency
- basic computer literacy
- problem-solving skills
- knowledge of lounge operations and California serving guidelines
- ability to maintain professionalism in appearance and conduct
- willingness to follow managerial direction
Job Qualifications
- Prior serving experience with a minimum of 2 years in a similar restaurant or lounge environment
- food handlers card required
- RBS certification required
- high school graduate
- able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace
- good communication skills, both verbal and written
- basic math skills and the ability to use a calculator
- basic computer skills
- ability to solve problems and make rational decisions
- knowledge of lounge operations, its services, and facilities
- superior guest service abilities and understanding of California serving guidelines
Job Duties
- Display a congenial appearance and be well groomed at all times
- take orders and answer questions or make recommendations for menu listed products
- clear, clean, reset and maintain tables during shift
- assist other servers to provide the best possible service as specified in Standards of Service Manual
- understand the processes of delivery and removal of all product and equipment
- handle all guest checks according to hotel policy
- maintain pars and equipment as needed to successfully accomplish all restaurant service tasks
- complete side work as assigned by manager
- assist guests in a friendly, professional and polite manner
- follow directions from manager at all times
- maintain proper uniform, ID badge and nametag at all times
- perform other job related duties as assigned
