Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food and beverage order taking or hospitality preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills including POS and Microsoft Office
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift moderate weight
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Possession of valid California Food Handlers Certification
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Refined customer service and phone etiquette
- Must be proficient in general computer knowledge including working knowledge of POS, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Previous food and beverage and hotel experience preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
- Flexible schedule including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work overnight shifts
- Must have physical stamina to lift, push, and pull moderate amounts of weight
- California Food Handlers Certification required
Job Duties
- Record guest food and beverage in-room dining orders accurately
- Offer menu suggestions to guests to enhance their dining experience
- Communicate continuously with in-room dining servers to coordinate order delivery and amenities
- Process payments for orders including room charges, credit cards, and cash
- Maintain a courteous and professional interaction with guests to ensure satisfaction
- Follow all food safety regulations including California Food Handlers Certification
- Assist in resolving guest concerns related to in-room dining orders efficiently
