Job Requirements

  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Regular and consistent attendance is required
  • Must be able to work well with other team members managers and interact with guests
  • Must have intermediate understanding of food handling procedures
  • Must have intermediate knife skills
  • Must have kitchen operations experience
  • Must have basic math skills
  • Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and company goals
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Must be able to stand for long periods
  • Must be able to safely operate company vehicle or golf cart
  • Must be able to safely operate kitchen equipment such as meat slicers fryers flat tops ovens and gas burners

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary arts degree preferred but not necessary
  • Intermediate understanding of proper food handling procedures
  • Intermediate knife skills
  • Kitchen operations experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well with other team members and managers
  • Ability to communicate professionally with guests
  • Ability to read and understand recipes

Job Duties

  • Execute food preparation tasks as assigned by the chefs including vegetable preparation meat fabrication sauce making saute meat cookery frying and more
  • Responsible for cleanliness and organization of all kitchen and kitchen storage spaces
  • Responsible for ensuring daily mise en place and cooking food to order
  • Responsible for daily and weekly inventories as assigned by the management team
  • Assist with receiving deliveries to the kitchen
  • Take direction and follow recipes
  • Work in a supervised environment
