Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum one year of food server experience in high volume or fine dining
  • Minimum one year hotel environment experience
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English
  • Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Ability to manage cash transactions accurately and securely
  • Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members
  • Ability to provide friendly, efficient service and resolve issues
  • Ability to evaluate alternatives quickly and accurately
  • Ability to work under pressure calmly and efficiently
  • May be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license
  • Must obtain and maintain a Food Handler's Card
  • No driving responsibilities
  • Ability to work evening, weekend and holiday shifts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to lift or move up to 40 pounds
  • Must maintain neat and well-groomed appearance
  • May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles including secondhand smoke

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum one year of experience as a food server in high volume or fine dining environment preferred
  • Minimum one year of experience in a hotel environment preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Proficient in simple mathematical operations
  • Effective cash management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capability to provide friendly, efficient, and best in class service
  • Ability to evaluate and choose alternatives quickly and accurately
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure

Job Duties

  • Create exceptional guest experiences by providing enthusiastic and engaging service
  • Greet guests promptly with a smile and eye contact
  • Respond promptly to guest calls ensuring accurate order placement and timely closure
  • Process sales transactions and cash handling accurately
  • Prepare and serve meals on trays and carts following Forbes 5 Star and department standards
  • Deliver food and necessary condiments to guest rooms with neat presentation
  • Restock condiments, plastic ware, coffee, and ice bins to maintain efficient setup
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of workstation and assigned areas
  • Ensure service debris is cleared and room service trays are returned to the kitchen
  • Perform additional duties to support efficient department operations
