Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in architecture, design, business, or project management
- 5-7+ years of experience in architecture or design
- Proven project management experience
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work setting
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Authorized to work permanently in the U.S.

- Demonstrated ability to manage complex architectural projects from schematic design through construction
- Strong skills in stakeholder coordination and budget management
- Experience developing design guidelines and managing RFP and bidding processes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a start-up or scale-up environment with flexibility and teamwork
- Commitment to educational mission and equity
Job Duties
- Ensure all Zeta buildings are built as beautiful, world-class, and joyful learning spaces in accordance with design philosophy and specifications
- Maintain and continuously improve Zeta's design guidelines and specification guides
- Develop and codify design guidelines for bidding purposes
- Support development of RFPs and bid scope sheets for new facilities projects
- Manage and work closely with contracted architects to align schematic design, design development, and construction documents with Zeta’s standards and safety requirements
- Drive on-time project completion through stakeholder coordination and management of design components including development milestones, submittals, RFI close-outs, and punch lists
- Ensure projects remain within budget via budget development, value engineering, cost-effective product selection, and negotiation of award pricing
- Serve as internal expert on all design documents and maintain real-time issue logs
- Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules and proactively manage off-track items
- Support and execute scalable design and decoration of schools in coordination with building design consultants
- Take on various tasks as part of a lean scale-up team to support broader team objectives
