  • High school diploma or GED
  • Reliable transportation
  • Cell phone
  • Passed required state and company background checks
  • Meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements
  • At least 1 year of child care experience beyond friends and family
  • Experience with children from infant to 12 years old

Job Duties

  • Care for infant to school-aged children in their own homes - no transporting kids or household chores required
  • Engage children in hands-on activities tailored to their interests and needs
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children in your care
  • Comply with all applicable immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training
  • Provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery and services per Bright Horizons policies
  • Maintain open communication with families regarding child care and developmental progress
  • Follow state and company guidelines and regulations to protect children and yourself
