Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completed a competency evaluation
- Sympathetic attitude toward care of sick and vulnerable populations
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to lift required weight as specified
- Valid driver's license with safe driving record
Job Duties
- Assist clients with homemaking tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping and mopping floors
- Provide companionship by engaging clients in social and recreational activities
- Prepare meals and assist clients with kitchen tasks
- Accompany clients on walks and trips to errands or appointments
- Maintain cleanliness and satisfaction in clients' homes
- Adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines for client safety
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to provide excellent care
