Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED preferred
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
  • Valid driver’s license and insured car
  • Previous care experience preferred including caring for your own family
  • Willingness to work part-time or full-time schedules
  • Ability to perform personal care activities and light housekeeping
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care

Job Duties

  • Performing personal care activities that assist patients with activities of daily living
  • Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions
  • Taking clients on errands or to medical appointments
  • Assisting with ambulation and transfers
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, loading dishwasher, changing sheets, and doing laundry
  • Assisting with personal hygiene and dressing
  • Providing patient-specific care activities such as medication reminders and exercises
