Job Requirements

  • High school graduation or acquisition of a GED
  • any combination of work experience in a related field
  • or equivalent training, education, and/or experience
  • valid South Carolina driver's license

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • experience in food preparation or packaging preferred
  • familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures
  • ability to follow detailed recipes and guidelines
  • strong organizational skills
  • basic computer proficiency
  • ability to work in a team environment
  • excellent attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Preparing and packaging a variety of food according to safety and health procedures
  • assembling and packaging food per customers' specifications
  • ensuring quality and safety of all food leaving the facility
  • receiving and storing food supplies, equipment, and utensils
  • organizing and maintaining cleanliness of storage areas, including refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards
  • cleaning and sanitizing kitchen preparation areas, storage areas, tools, containers, and utensils
  • wearing appropriate clothing, headwear, and gloves
  • processing various documentation related to department operations, including invoices, menus, recipes, memos, and emails
  • operating and maintaining kitchen equipment such as pallet jack, mixers, scales, ovens, blenders, and food processors
  • using personal computers to enter, retrieve, review, or modify data and communicate
