Job Requirements
- A four year BS/BA degree is preferred, not required
- prefer at least two years of experience handling import trafficking functions with a freight forwarder or broker
- two to three years of experience in customer service duties
- must be able to work in a fast paced office
- good communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills required
- candidate must possess a strong team work attitude
- candidate must be PC literate with MS Office applications
- no relocation or immigration assistance associated with this opening
- compensation based on experience

Job Duties
- Coordinate import trafficking functions
- perform data entry and document distribution
- receive and log shipment documents
- verify compliance with US Customs requirements
- process all shipment documents according to regulatory standards
- coordinate cargo availability and arrange pickups and deliveries
- finalize billing and distribute shipment documents
- monitor daily shipment status and proactively report discrepancies
- maintain and update shipment-related data tables
- assist in resolving accounting issues
- perform RFI/RFQ tasks as required
- ensure prompt and accurate communication with internal teams and customers
