Job Requirements

  • four year BS or BA degree preferred but not required
  • minimum two years experience in import trafficking functions with a freight forwarder or broker
  • two to three years of customer service experience
  • ability to work in a fast paced office environment
  • good communication skills
  • attention to detail
  • organizational skills
  • strong team work attitude
  • PC literate with MS Office applications
  • no relocation or immigration assistance available

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • coordinate import trafficking functions
  • perform data entry and document distribution duties for customer air shipments
  • receive and log shipment documents
  • confirm compliance with US Customs requirements
  • process shipment documents per regulatory standards
  • coordinate cargo availability and arrange pickup and delivery
  • finalize billing and handle document distribution as required
  • review daily monitoring reports and ensure measurement standards are met
  • proactively report non-conformances
  • maintain current tables and assist in accounting issues
  • perform requests for information and quotes
  • ensure prompt and accurate communications
