Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One to three years of related experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications
  • Accurate typing and data entry
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Capacity to analyze documents effectively

Job Qualifications

  • Associates degree preferred
  • Minimum one to three years related experience
  • Professional certification may be required in some areas
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based software
  • Accurate typing and data entry skills
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic using U.S. units
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations related to logistics

Job Duties

  • Serve as single point of coordination between customers, U.S. Customs and Border Protection and other government agencies to achieve service commitments
  • Provide excellent and timely customer service by proactively informing clients of shipment status
  • Receive, review and process shipment documentation for assigned accounts
  • Interface with CEVA systems to update and communicate shipment information
  • Obtain releases from government agencies and arrange shipment delivery and invoicing
  • Perform initial transaction reviews and report irregularities
  • Manage daily pre-alerts to monitor freight arrival and document receipt
