Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 3 - 5 years' equivalent work experience in logistics, import/export or Foreign Trade Zone operations
- Knowledge of Foreign Trade Zone regulations under 19 CFR Part 146
- Understanding of import/export regulations
- Experience working with freight forwarders and regulatory agencies preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Word and comfortable with Customs portal such as ACE, and ERP systems
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams including Distribution, Finance, and Traffic
- Warehouse/distribution related experience in apparel/hard goods preferred
- 3+ years warehouse experience preferred

Job Duties
- Audit import files 5 days prior to shipment arrival by verifying commercial documents to ERP for accurate HTS numbers, country of origin, manufacturer ID, valuation and other key attributes
- Coordinate with buying agents to obtain missing documents, shipping details, and clarify outstanding issues
- Work with freight forwarders to file Permits-to-Transfer 5 days in advance when required
- Submit Fish and Wildlife declarations (Form 3-177) 5 days prior to arrival and coordinate with FWS officers as needed
- Support Samples department by resolving clearance delays on sample shipments with customs brokers
- Track and update shipment ETAs in ERP, communicate availability working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and port authorities
- Work with CBP Cargo Security Officers or Automated Broker Interface (ABI) representative when required
