- associate's degree or higher preferred
- fluent in English and Spanish
- minimum of 3 years in import/export regulations and compliance
- experience in related field such as oil and gas or turbomachinery

Job Duties
- Assist on all facets of import-export and customs work
- maintain files and records of all inbound and outbound international shipments
- assist in navigating or avoiding tariffs
- coordinate all outbound international shipments with customers, freight forwarders, and import brokers
- arrange outside vendors for special services such as special trucking requirements
- generate purchase orders for international freight-related activities
- interface with international partners to ensure compliance on international shipments
- monitor customer broker and provide assistance to resolve incorrect or missing data
- code and approve international freight invoices for accounting payment
- prepare customs documentation for exports clearance
- provide customs documentation copies to customers, customs, and brokers
- manage Importer Security Filing and additional carrier requirements
- prepare documentation for lost or damaged freight claims
- obtain freight and handling quotes
- complete and process import/export paperwork including NAFTA documentation, commercial invoices, BOL, and packing slips
- collect necessary data such as ECCN, Schedule B, and BOMS
- process scans through Denied Parties Program including export compliance diligence
- utilize required systems including Automated Export System and Schedule B
- perform other non-customs duties assigned by Manager of Logistics
- serve as primary backup for Manager of Logistics
- support company initiatives promoting safe working and environmental protection
