- completion of the ninth grade required
- availability to work evening shifts
- physical ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds
- willingness to report during inclement weather and emergencies
- ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
- provide a current working telephone number and update as necessary
- wear proper attire and uniform provided
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- ability to work 12 months per year
- experience in cleaning and grounds maintenance preferred
Job Qualifications

- high school diploma or GED preferred
- experience in general cleaning of buildings and grounds
- ability to operate custodial and grounds care equipment
- knowledge of cleaning supplies and safety procedures
- ability to comprehend and follow instructions
- good communication skills
- ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- knowledge of emergency facility response procedures
Job Duties
- perform building cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- conduct facilities and grounds maintenance work
- operate and maintain custodial and grounds care equipment
- use approved cleaning supplies and chemicals safely
- monitor building spaces and grounds to ensure safety and security
- report facility and safety issues to supervisors
- comply with emergency response procedures and report to buildings during inclement weather
