Job Requirements
- high school diploma
- prior healthcare experience preferred
- knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- ability to communicate effectively with external providers

- ability to work independently and collaboratively
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma
- associates degree in health administration or related field preferred
- five years of related healthcare experience preferred
- knowledge of medical terminology
- experience with Epic preferred
- understanding of healthcare scheduling workflows order management and referral coordination processes
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- ability to work independently and collaboratively
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality
Job Duties
- act as a direct line of communication for outside providers office to correspond with regarding their patients imaging services
- receive and transcribe imaging-related orders from outside providers
- communicate with provider office to request new orders insurance information or demographics concerning patient
- use a tracker log to enter patients step in process to be sent to outside providers on a weekly basis
- check on patient orders to ensure timely scheduling of exams
- act as a direct line of communication for providers for same-day or urgent requests
- send reports to outside providers once exams have been completed
