Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Food Handler Certification or Food Handler Card as required by local jurisdiction within 30 days of employment
- Ability to work 34-40 hours per week with open availability Monday through Sunday
- Experience in food preparation and customer service
- Knowledge of cash handling policies
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years related experience
- Experience in a high-volume customer facing environment preferred
- Experience in a high-volume retail environment with knowledge of basic merchandising and selling concepts preferred
- Food Handler Certification and/or Food Handler Card required within 30 days of employment
Job Duties
- Prepare and maintain IKEA Food menu items according to the IKEA Food concept
- Adhere to food handling, health, and sustainability standards
- Respond to customer inquiries and process sales transactions accurately
- Maintain equipment operation through adherence to operating guidelines
- Conduct preventive and cleaning maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and play areas
- Oversee merchandising, pricing, stock rotation, and cleanliness in the Swedish Food Market
