Job Duties

  • Meet and greet customers and identify their overall needs to support and serve them by asking the right questions
  • Provide advice about food content and menu choices
  • Handle customer enquiries and complaints
  • Implement best practices to commercialize food dishes and products for competitive advantage
  • Merchandise and maintain food dishes and products to secure availability, quality, and presentation
  • Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, organization, and safety of food production, service, and seating areas
  • Operate Point-of-Sale solutions to take payment for customer orders
  • Create daily food menus by planning preparation and production
  • Use ingredients and equipment to prepare, produce, cook, and serve dishes in line with operational and food safety requirements
  • Receive, store, and replenish stock items to secure safe and quality ingredients
  • Perform operational tasks connected to waste and inventory management processes
